Includes: oil & filter change, gear oil change, fuel filters, spark plugs. Battery and systems courtesy check: hoses, belts, grease fittings, steering, voltage, etc.

About Me.
My name is Ross Foster, here's a little piece of my story...
Born and raised in Jonesboro GA, about 15 miles south of Atlanta, I was blessed to have grown up on a lake just large enough to allow power boating. Growing up, I fished every day. Like, EVERY day. I also did more than my share of wakeboarding and just about any other watercraft related activity imaginable. Since there were never any dealerships or commercial marinas in my hometown, boat repair was an expensive and time consuming ordeal. As a result I learned to perform minor repairs and maintenance on my own. I'll never forget, we had a pontoon boat powered by a "Force" 75 and my Dad bought me a 4 horse Yamaha for my Jon boat. I learned early on that I really enjoyed mechanical work and had a fascination with engine operation. In 2008 I decided to attend the Marine Mechanics' Institute, so that I could pursue this passion as a career. After a few years of apprenticeship and working in a couple of repair shops, I decided to go into business for myself. You see, with very few exceptions (none that were hiring) the repair shops were poorly orchestrated and unprofessional . Going to work every day became a miserable experience, even though I liked my trade. I really wanted to start my own repair service, but I didn’t know much at all about business ownership. So, I went back to school and completed my formal education at nearby Gordon College in Barnesville GA. In 2014 I formed Southside Marine, a mobile marine engine repair service that I operated until moving to SC in 2021. Now that I’ve been here for a little while and gotten to know some people, I’m excited to offer my services here in the Lowcountry under a new name...
